Senior Tax Accountant (south eastern MA)
Salary Range: $85,000 to $95,000 with a 15%
bonus range
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax Accounting, the Senior Tax Accountant will
be an integral member of the Company tax department with a focus on accounting
for income taxes, corporate tax compliance and tax risk management. Prepare
interim and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 (FAS 109)
and IAS 12. Reconcile global tax accounts and related analyses (income taxes
payable, FIN 48, and deferred tax accounts). Identify and analyze changes in
tax laws to determine impact to Company. Ensure tax rate changes are accurately
reflected in Company's tax accounting (e.g., changes to deferred items). Review
the local countries quarterly and annual tax reporting used in the preparation
of the US GAAP and IFRS global income tax provision. Assist with the
preparation of the consolidated tax footnote and other tax disclosures.
Actively participate as a member of team responsible for implementing and/or
utilizing tax technology software solutions for accounting for income taxes,
income tax compliance, and other tax functions. Assist with the financial audit
by external auditors. Proactively identify process improvements, implement
changes and ensure best practices. Support companywide ERP implementation.
Perform research and assist with special projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. MS in Taxation and/or CPA
preferred. A minimum of 5 years of public accounting with work on large
corporate tax provisions, or 7-10 years private industry in billion plus
multinational corporation(s) with specific focus on ASC 740 reporting and
corporate tax compliance. Technical knowledge of ASC 740 and IAS 12 Technical
knowledge of federal and state corporate income tax laws. Fundamental
understanding of US GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements. Ability to exercise
independent judgment with regard to application of tax law. Strong excel skills
are required.
Senior Accountant (south eastern MA)
Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 with a 15%

Objective
of this job: To accurately perform accounting and forecasting related duties
within the finance department.
Responsibilities:
Perform advertising and promotion accounting and analysis. Perform leadership
accounting and analysis. Perform sales program accounting and analysis. Record
the activity related to alternate sales channels including Cameron, Vokey, and
TPI websites. Assist in the internal control documentation and review process. Participate in the implementation of M3 ERP
system related to areas of responsibility. Assist in the development of the advertising
and promotion business plan and monthly forecast. Perform other accounting and
forcasting duties and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Accounting, CPA preferred. 3-7 years of public and private accounting
experience. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word programs, and
financial accounting systems. Good written and oral communications skills.
MA- twenty minutes from Worcester
Sr. Manager,
Tax- Requires 10+ years of tax
experience, with atleast 5+ years of insurance industry tax experience. CPA
and/or MST required. Will pay to $120k salary + bonus (might go slightly
higher).
Tax
Accountant – Requires 2+ years of corporate
tax experience. Insurance experience preferred, but not required for this role. Will pay to $70K.
CT/RI boarder
Audit
Manager – pays to $130k + bonus. CPA,
CMA or CIA required. Looking for Management level experience in an Internal
Audit or Public Accounting role. Requires SOX and public company experience.
Prefer manufacturing industry experience. Travel approx..
25%
Staff
Auditor –
pays to $55k (maybe $60k). Will
consider 1 year experience in public accounting or internal audit.
Flexible with industry experience, but probably not insurance or
financial services.
RI
Manager,
External Reporting – to $115k + bonus. Reports to
Assistant Controller. Requires 5+ years experience in a SEC reporting role, from
either Public Accounting or industry. CPA required. Current SEC experience
required. Ideal candidate is a Big 4 CPA.
Staff Accountant, paying to $45k (look for
candidates who are “A” players….outgoing personality, future growth
potential……..1 year plus accountant experience required… No financial services
or insurance industry experience….want someone out of manufacturing, retail,
etc…
Sr. Systems Analyst – pays to $70k and
requires Underwriting Systems experience….
