COST ACCOUNTANT
Location: Just south of Hartford, CT, Salary: up to $55,000
Description: As a Cost Accountant, the individual will be responsible for daily accounting activities for the manufacturing side of the business and provide analytical information to management. Also, the Cost Accountant will be responsible for performing accounting functions consisting of inventory, labor hour maintenance, and month end close responsibilities.
Specific Responsibilities
• Supports month-end close process and account reconciliation.
• Month-end inventory accounting and reconciliation.
• Maintains perpetual inventory in MAS500
• Generates labor cost and shipments reports for management review.
• Manages standard cost system, including maintaining BOM’s.
• Develop and produce manufacturing efficiency and financial scorecards.
• Assists in the development and enforcement of accounting policies and procedures that directly impact the manufacturing group.
• Conducts product line analysis for management review.
• Assist in the development of the annual manufacturing budget.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Provide support to the manufacturing plants.
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Computer proficiency: ERP (Preferably MAS 500), Excel, Powerpoint, Crystal Reports,and Word
• Ability to manage, organize and plan multiple projects
• Possess strong customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Perform well on high performance teams and participate as a strong team player
• Technical skills in account reconciliation, cost analysis and month-end close responsibilities, etc.
• Attention to detail
• Problem analysis and problem resolution
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
Professional Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3 - 5 years of related work experience in cost accounting and/or finance
• Work experience in a manufacturing work environment

Senior Accountant
Location: Southern MA, Salary: up to $75,000
This position will assist the Compliance and Financial Reporting department by performing several functions, such as preparing monthly and annual financial statements, reconciling specific complex accounts (such as pension liability, environmental reserves), filing census information with respective agencies, assisting with policies and procedures, research technical accounting issues and prepare Corporate position memos, preparing complex journal entries, assist with year-end audit, and other projects as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*BS /BA in Accounting,
*This position requires a C.P.A. or the ability to acquire a C.P.A
*3-5 years of public accounting experience
*Strong Finance and accounting skills.
*Good working knowledge of financial accounting systems and Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and Access.
*Proactive, well –organized, team-oriented and willing to take on new challenges.

Director of Accounting - supervises 4 incl. AP Supervisor, Sr. Accountants.... Will pay in the $75k-$90k salary range + bonus (15-18%).
Internal Auditor - pay to high $40ks + bonus. approx. 25% travel.
(2) SAP roles. requires SAP configuration experience with either Netweaver or HR/Payroll or Finance modules. Will pay to $90k + bonus (15% target).
Tax Manager- to $120k + bonus. Requires strong FA109, FIN48, consolidated federal and multi-state tax compliance experience. 6+ years tax experience.
Audit Supervisor/Manager- to 25% travel. Requires 3+ years of public accounting or internal audit and manufacturing industry experience. Will pay to $90k + bonus.
Sr. Tax Acct - pay to $85k + bonus. Requires 3 years of corporate tax experience. FAS109, multi-state, sales/use tax.....
Manager, Financial Planning and Business Development - Requires 10+ years of experience in manufacturing financial planning and analysis, to include operational performance analysis, mergers and acquisitions analysis, etc... Probably around 15-20% travel. Will pay to $140k salary + bonus.
